The temperature limit is slightly lower but still relatively high at 1350F (730C). Regarding pressure, ductile iron valves also use pressure classes: 150 and 300. At standard outdoor temperatures, class 150 malleable iron keeps a seal up to 250 psi. Pressure as high as 640 psi can be handled by Class 300.
